KCI & JoJo and THE BOYZ!!

Prime spot. Middle front of the stage. All set for the BoyZ.

First up was Kci & JoJo. Wow... it was really them! That distinctive "woooooOoo" of Kci was really coming from that tiny Metros stage. These fellas were energetic and lively getting the crowd revved up with their classic hits but JoJo was particularly stirring with his pelvic giration and wandering hands. They sang some oldies, new ones and even Jodeci hits.

You know when you go through a season with certain songs, subjecting them to countless repetitions... Well I've been going through a period with this oldie "Lately". At the concert, Kci uttered the first few lines "Lately I've had the strangest feeling......" *shriek* "Oh my gawd Bonnie they're singing it!!"

Then came the Boyzz...

This was our second outing to a Boyz2Men concert and despite the show being very similar to the first one we saw, we were still so giddy and excited (like school girls) to see and hear them in the flesh. We were in the back row the last time (right next to the lighting guy) but this time they were singing directly to us as they lent over the stage! The Boyz were singing directly to us!! Just like we used to imagine pop stars would when we were flighty primary schoolers. Well I don't think I ever saw them as heart throbs but I always used to sing really loudly to their songs and I remember standing right by the TV with my brother a good 12 years ago belting out 'End of the Road' while it played on Video Hits.
